Overview
The Department of Vermont Health Access (DVHA)'s Health Access Eligibility & Enrollment Unit (HAEEU) is seeking a qualified individual to join their dynamic team. Enjoy a balanced work/life schedule with a Monday-Friday workweek and eleven paid state holidays, along with a comprehensive benefits package. We currently operate on a hybrid model with three days in-office, though this schedule is subject to change. The Health Program Administrator position is part of the Vermont Health Connect (VHC) team, ensuring that Vermonters have the insurance coverage they need and is also a member of the enrollment and premium processing team working with the premium processors and carriers to ensure Vermonters have the coverage they need.
Job Duties:
Job Duties include but are not limited to: Reviewing/Resolving discrepancies relating to VT Medicaid between multiple systems, identifying defects and providing solutions, utilizing business intelligence tools such as Tableau, and assisting with Vermont Medicaid Renewals.

Minimum Qualifications
One (1) year or more of experience in a healthcare or health insurance field.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of health insurance operations and federal health care reform.
