Overview

The Department of Vermont Health Access (DVHA)'s Health Access Eligibility & Enrollment Unit (HAEEU) is seeking a qualified individual to join their dynamic team. Have the work/life balance you need with a Monday-Friday schedule and a supportive hybrid work environment. Eleven paid state holidays, in addition to a robust benefits package.  We currently operate on a hybrid model with three days in-office.  This in office schedule is not guaranteed.
 

Job Duties: 
The position plays an integral part for the Medicaid Reconciliation Group which is a part of the Health Access Eligibility and Enrollment (HAEEU) Data Team. The VHC Support Services Specialist (Medicaid Reconciliation) serves as a subject matter expert in researching and resolving discrepancies between healthcare systems. Additionally, this position provides back-end support for accurate customer eligibility determination, defect identification and tracking, and testing program deployments. The VHC Support Services Specialist works closely with various internal groups to accomplish our mission statement.  
 

Job Duties include but are not limited to: Reviewing/Resolving discrepancies relating to VT Medicaid between multiple systems, identifying defects and providing solutions, utilizing business intelligence tools such as Tableau, and assisting with Vermont Medicaid Renewals.

Minimum Qualifications

One (1) year or more of experience in a healthcare or health insurance field.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of health insurance operations and federal health care reform.
