Overview

Come join a team of dedicated and compassionate staff at a new 16-bed state-of-the-art Secure Residential Facility in Essex, Vermont.. You will play an essential role in the person-centered treatment of adults with severe mental illness. The facility is over 17,000 square feet with a separate full-size gymnasium. The new facility is scheduled to open in early April of 2023 and will be transitioning from the current 7-bed Secure Residential Program located in Middlesex, Vermont.

 

This position manages the administration of a variety of functions including supervision of the staffing office at RVTR. Additionally, this position is responsible for managing all direct care nursing and staffing schedules, resources, and processes related to staffing office functions to ensure programmatic needs are being met. This position will also manage recruitment efforts for the facility and will have a lead role in hiring and onboarding new staff at RVTR.

 

Mission:
The River Valley Therapeutic Residence (RVTR) aims to improve the health and well-being of Vermont's most vulnerable populations while focusing on psychiatric rehabilitation services and psychosocial treatment delivered in a recovery oriented, trauma informed, person-centered, holistic environment. The program offers a safe space to focus on recovery and community integration for those individuals no longer needing hospital level of care but who are not yet ready to transition back to the community. Telework:
During this time of transition, individuals will be required to travel to Middlesex, Waterbury, and Berlin for training and shadowing. There may be some flexibility for remote work during this transition as well.

Environmental Factors

Duties are generally performed in a standard office setting. There may be some exposure to patient populations. Some work outside of regular work schedule may be required. There may be periods of heavy workloads and tight deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree AND two (2) years performing administrative level duties which includes complex scheduling.

OR

Associate's degree AND four (4) years performing administrative level duties which includes complex scheduling.

OR

High School diploma or equivalent AND six (6) years performing administrative level duties which includes complex scheduling.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with work schedule coordination or coordination of staffing in large scale operations.

Complex scheduling experience in a healthcare setting.
