Overview
The Vermont Digital Services Agency is looking for an Enterprise Architecth to align business strategies to IT strategies through an Enterprise Architecture framework and discipline. You will align business process and other business centric artifacts with Enterprise Architecture domains. This position establishes maturity models, roadmaps and sustainability models of current and future state vision based on above mentioned strategies. Analyze, plan, design, and provide domain specific leadership to IT projects and implement State of Vermont Information Systems with emphasis on reuse of business processes and information technology solutions within and outside state of Vermont environments.

Environmental Factors
Work is performed in a standard office setting, but some travel may be required for which private means of transportation should be available. Work outside of regular business hours may be expected.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science AND four (4) years or more in IT architecture and design processes/constraints including design and management of physical/virtual platforms, application dependencies, system performance, failover and high availability mechanisms, capacity planning, network topology, application interoperability and service orientation frameworks and security/compliance standards such as NIST, IRS 1075, HIPAA.
OR
Associate's degree in computer science AND six year or more in IT architecture and design processes/constraints including design and management of physical/virtual platforms, application dependencies, system performance, failover and high availability mechanisms, capacity planning, network topology, application interoperability and service orientation frameworks and security/compliance standards such as NIST, IRS 1075, HIPAA.
OR
High school diploma or equivalent AND eight (8) years or more in IT architecture and design processes/constraints including design and management of physical/virtual platforms, application dependencies, system performance, failover and high availability mechanisms, capacity planning, network topology, application interoperability and service orientation frameworks and security/compliance standards such as NIST, IRS 1075, HIPAA.
