Overview

The Benefit Service Center in Waterbury VT, is seeking an outgoing friendly and organized call center supervisor to oversee and provide support to a group of agents who answer a variety of calls from clients ranging from general inquires to specific eligibility questions and who also process many cases. The successful candidate must work well with staff to answer not only answer case specific eligibility questions timely but provide guidance on a number of fronts. The successful candidate will function well in a supportive team and production environment.

Environmental Factors

Duties are performed primarily in a standard office setting within a district office. Some travel may be necessary, for which private transportation must be available. Stressful interaction with upset or emotional clients may occur. Staff workload may frequently be heavy.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent AND five (5) years as a Benefits Program Specialist or Reach Up Case Manager or case management experience at the same level in a human services, employment and training or education field.

OR

Associates degree AND three (3) years as a Benefits Program Specialist or Reach Up Case Manager or case management experience at the same level in a human services, employment and training or education field.

OR

Bachelor's degree or higher AND one (1) year as a Benefits Program Specialist or Reach Up Case Manager or case management experience at the same level in a human services, employment and training or education field.
