Overview
The DPS Data & Information Coordinator leads the oversight of Vermont State Police utilized CAD/RMS systems and serves as technical expert on data collection.
The role requires a high level of proficiency in data collection and information management, statistical data analysis, report development, and written/oral communication. Duties are performed with significant independence. Work is performed with routine interaction with all levels of the Vermont State Police, other state agencies, outside vendors, and other law enforcement organizations.

Environmental Factors
Duties are typically performed in a standard office setting. Some travel may be required for which private means of transportation should be available. Some work outside of regular work schedule may be required.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field AND three (3) years or more of experience in database management and data analysis.
OR
Seven (7) years or more of experience in database management and data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
Expert level proficiency using Spillman and Valcour CAD/RMS.
