Title: Children's Personal Care Services Specialist

Overview
Consultative, administrative, and technical work to oversee the daily operations of Children's Personal Care Services (CPCS). CPCS is a Medicaid benefit serving approximately 1,250 enrollees who require extra assistance to complete their age-appropriate activities of daily living. This position requires extensive interaction with the families of recipients, provider and state agencies, and intermediary service organizations.
This position requires being in the office on a regular basis but can request a hybrid schedule.
All employees of the Agency of Human Services perform their respective functions adhering to four key practices: customer service, holistic service, strengths-based relationships and results orientation.

AHS BACKGROUND CHECKS: Candidates must pass any level of background investigation applicable to the position. Environmental Factors
Duties are performed primarily in an office setting with some travel to meet with assessors, teams, or various service providers. Strong differences of opinion may be encountered which require considerable tact and diplomacy.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree and four (4) years or more of experience in a social services or human services program, and performing administrative duties
OR
Bachelor's degree and three (3) years or more of experience in a social services or human services program, and performing administrative duties
OR
Master’s degree and one (1) year or more of experience in a social services or human services program, and performing administrative duties
