Overview
Help shape how Vermont delivers and pays for better health care. The Blueprint for Health is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical professional to serve as the Payment Operations Administrator, a key role responsible for managing more than $41 million in annual payments that support health care practices and providers across Vermont.
In this position, you'll bring together complex data from Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurers to ensure accurate and timely payments, while working closely with health care leaders, insurers, providers, and Blueprint teams statewide. You'll have the opportunity to solve complex payment and data challenges, lead the legislatively mandated Payment Implementation Committee, maintain critical program guidance, and help strengthen the systems that support Vermont's innovative health care model.

AHS BACKGROUND CHECKS: Candidates must pass any level of background investigation applicable to the position. Environmental Factors
Duties are performed primarily in a standard office setting. Occasional travel may be required for which private means of transportation must be available. Some work outside of normal office hours may be required.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in health care profession, public administration, business administration or related field AND three (3) years or more at a professional level where the duties included any combination of analytical work, professional report writing and payment administration.
OR
Bachelor's degree in public health, health care administration, health care profession, health and human services, business administration or related field AND five (5) years or more at a professional level where the duties included any combination of analytical work, professional report writing analytical work, professional report writing and payment administration.
Preferred Qualifications
A degree in Mathematics or Public or Business Administration
