Overview

This position primarily serves the System of Care Unit in the Family Services Division, based out of the Waterbury State Office Complex. Focus areas include: 1.) navigating outcomes data and generating reports related to outcomes reporting in support of the Statewide Diligent Recruitment Plan. Applicant must be proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and some working knowledge of Sharepoint is preferred. 2.) ability to support administrative functions required by the unit including managing mailing lists and mailing platforms like Mailchimp, interfacing with approved social media platforms like Front Port Forum, supporting other business functions including survey development, dissemination, analysis and reporting and managing some of the Division's print materials. 3.) supports the Mandatory Reporting Training completion by providing customer service to constituents who need assistance with the portal. Well-developed organization and planning skills, attention to detail and ability to design and implement systems to increase efficiency will be necessary. Must possess the ability to work independently on a workplan while at the same time possess the flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities within the division. Ability to team and collaborate at a high level will be skills demonstrated by the selected candidate.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent AND two (2) years or more of experience providing administrative-level support to a business or organization.

OR

One year of full-time college coursework in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or closely related field AND one (1) year or more of experience providing administrative-level support to a business or organization.

OR

Two years of full-time college coursework OR and associate's degree in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or closely related field.

OR

One (1) year or more of experience as an Administrative Services Technician IV with the State of Vermont.

Special Requirements

For some positions experience working with the VISION system VISION is the State of Vermont PeopleSoft financial management system may be required.
NOTE: Only administrative work experience is qualifying. Administrative support includes those functions which keep the organization running or provide the resources for others to provide the programmatic work (e.g., accounting, budget management, grant administration, finance, human resources, payroll, purchasing, or space management).
