Overview
Voc Rehab Vermont is recruiting for a Job Coach. The VR Job Coach will provide time limited on-site support for consumers with disabilities in education and or training settings. This position may provide support prior to, during and/or after a consumer's work schedule including on-site and off-site support. This might include direct, one-to-one support at job sites as well as tutoring or coaching at workshops or classes. This position may provide hands-on job training in a workplace in order to help the consumer become fully independent. After the consumer has become stable on the job the VR Job Coach may provide periodic check-ins with the consumer and/or their supervisor. The work schedule will vary based on specific training needs of consumers. Availability to work occasional night/weekend hours may be required. Office to office travel to visit with consumers will be expected once pandemic related virtual only services are lifted.

This position, VR Job Coach - Temporary (Job Requisition #29022), is open to all State employees and external applicants. This is a temporary position. Temporary work is typically for variable hours, and is not expected to be full-time. The State does not guarantee 40 hours of work per week.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and six (6) months or more of work or volunteer experience in human services, customer service, or a related field requiring considerable personal interactions.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
