Overview
If you are ready to make an impact and lead change in your community, the Agency of Human Services invites you to apply for the position of Shelter Coordinator in Rutland, Vermont. We are seeking a dynamic and engaged leader to oversee the daily operations of our shelter. In this vital role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and refining shelter policies and procedures, while ensuring a safe, trauma-responsive environment for all guests. You will be instrumental in supporting and assisting guests with their needs, from case management to safety concerns. If you possess a flair for organization and a drive to create a support environment for those in need, then this could be a great role for you.
There will be three separate 8-hour shifts daily, a schedule will be created based upon the needs of the program.

This position, Shelter Coordinator - Temporary (Job Requisition #51795), is open to all State employees and external applicants. This is a temporary position. Temporary work is typically for variable hours, and is not expected to be full-time. The State does not guarantee 40 hours of work per week.
