Title: VTBuys Customer Support Specialist - Temporary

Overview
The State of Vermont is seeking two individuals to join the VTBuys Customer Support Office in temporary roles. These team members will play a critical part in supporting both internal and external users of the VTBuys system, which serves approximately 2,600 state employees and over 7,000 suppliers.
This role will:
- Provide customer support and training across all VTBuys modules.
- Assist with transaction errors, login issues, and functional system problems.
- Deliver one-on-one, ad hoc support to users with a wide range of computer skills.
- Onboard new users and manage access for departing or transferring employees.
- Field and respond to phone calls and emails from suppliers regarding registration, account setup, RFP responses, invoice submissions, and contract-related questions.

These positions will work 40 hours per week, for approximately 7 months.

Temporary work is typically for variable hours and is not expected to be full-time. The State does not guarantee 40 hours of work per week.

Environmental Factors
Environmental Factors Work is performed in a technical/computer environment involving considerable interaction with software end users and departments' technical support staff along with the Supplier Community. Some overtime work may be required. Some travel to customer locations for training may be necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
Three (3) or more years of experience providing customer service support and/or training for business software and systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s degree or higher in accounting, business, or public administration.
Experience working with VTBuys/Ivalua.
Experience in a call center or help desk environment.
