The Department of Labor is seeking a Program Integrity Specialist to join our team. The position will conduct audit interviews by telephone with applicants and employers regarding unemployment benefit claims; explains program requirements, responsibilities and processes for unemployment benefits filing and reporting. The position will also be responsible to obtain missing employer's wage and contribution reports, if the employer is delinquent, they will be responsible to collect the debt owed to the Department or set up a payment plan until their debt is satisfied.

Environmental Factors

Incumbents must be able to work in stressful and sometimes emotional situations and treat the public with sensitivity, fairness, and tact. Incumbents may encounter clients who are uncooperative or who may be hostile during interviews for which considerable human relations skills are required. Workload volume will be extremely high on occasion.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent AND three (3) years or more of experience performing fiscal auditing, accounting, quality assurance or collections work.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate's or bachelor's degree.
