Overview

Supervisory and administrative work involving the operation of the Department of Liquor Control's central liquor warehouse. Supervision is exercised over subordinate staff. An incumbent assumes responsibility for the warehouse during supervisor's absences. Duties are performed under the general supervision of the Liquor Warehouse Management Systems Coordinator. Duties are primarily performed in a temperature-controlled warehouse, A significant amount of time may be spent in delivering stock which will require working outside in variable weather conditions. Work assignments require operation of equipment, vehicles, and the lifting and carrying merchandise weighing up to fifty-five pounds on variable surfaces in variable weather.

Environmental Factors

Minimum Qualifications

High school graduation or equivalent AND four (4) years of experience in inventory control and warehouse procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

Supervisory experience.

Note: A Commercial Driver's License is required within six months of date of hire.
