Overview

To ensure effective planning and resource distribution, optimizing operational performance, and aligning IT functions with the Governor's priorities. Supporting the Deputy Director in Enhancing Service Delivery by developing strategies and operational tactics; refining processes to improve service efficiency; collaborating with leadership to align efforts with agency initiatives. To enhance the effectiveness and responsiveness of digital services, ensuring seamless IT support for state government functions. 


Building Collaborative Partnerships Across Departments and Agencies by fostering strong working relationships within state government and external partners; facilitating cross-departmental IT initiatives; aligning strategic planning with department needs and government priorities. To promote innovation, streamline service delivery, and optimize IT resources for maximum impact.

 

A fingerprint-supported background check may be required based on the assigned job duties and location.

 

As of July 12, 2026, the step 1 rate for pay grade 28 will be $37.80 per hour and the step 15 rate will be $59.62 per hour.

Environmental Factors

Work is performed in a standard office setting. Some travel may be required for which private means of transportation should be available. Work outside of regular work schedule may be anticipated.

Minimum Qualifications

Six (6) years or more experience in computer science, business administration, public administration, mathematics, technical operations management or providing support to staff within an Information Technology environment.

 

OR

 

Four (4) years or more in an Information Technology Manager role with a combination of experience in computer operations, information technology management/administration or supervisory responsibilities.
