Overview
As the supervisor of the Business Process Analysis team, you will lead a dynamic team of Business Process Analysts dedicated to transforming and optimizing business processes across the State. Your leadership will be pivotal in guiding the team through comprehensive evaluations and redesigns of workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness for our State partners.
In this role, you will oversee the execution of root cause analyses, ensuring that current-state processes are meticulously documented and future-state workflows are strategically mapped. You will play a key role in identifying critical business rules and developing user stories and prioritization models that align with organizational goals.
You will lead and mentor your team in translating complex operational challenges into clear analytical insights and actionable recommendations, driving improvements and defining capability needs and solution requirements.

Environmental Factors
Duties are performed in a standard office setting and/or from a remote office location within the State of Vermont. Considerable interaction with the Information Technology Section, users, and other department staff is involved. Some travel may be required for which private means of transportation should be available. Work outside of regular business hours may be expected.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Public Administration, Information Technology or a related field OR Certification as a Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) AND four (4) years or more of experience in the field of information technology where the primary role was business analyst AND at one (1) or more years in a supervisory role.
OR
Five (5) years or more of experience in the field of information technology where the primary role was business analyst AND (2) years or more of experience in a supervisory role.
