Overview

The Agency of Digital Services (ADS) is currently hiring for an IT Systems Developer III. This positions involves professional programming, data base administration, and systems analysis work, primarily supporting the Agency of Natural Resources (ANR).  The Systems Developer is responsible for analysis of user requirements, procedures, and problems associated with automating processing, data analysis, and reporting or to improve existing database applications is required. Incumbents are technical experts in their field. Candidates should have the ability to manage projects efficiently and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Work is performed under the supervision of an information technology supervisor. Preferred candidates will have experience in SQL as well as Sales Force or similar CRM technology.

Environmental Factors

Work is performed in a standard office setting and there is considerable interaction with users and members of project teams requiring some tact and diplomacy to balance competing views. Work outside of regular work schedule can be anticipated.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science AND two (2) or more years of experience in computer or network support, programming or analysis, or database administration.

OR

Associate's degree in computer science or college-level coursework that includes 15 computer science credits AND four (4) or more years of experience in computer or network support, programming or analysis, or database administration.

OR

Six (6) or more years of experience in computer or network support, programming or analysis, or database administration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of Object-oriented design.
  • Proven knowledge of .NET Framework
  • Proficiency in SQL Management Studio.
  • Knowledge of relational database design; proven experience using SQL Server & T-SQL, with ability to write stored procedures, user defined functions & SQL queries.
