Overview

This position supports the activities of the Department of Liquor and Lottery (DLL).  DLL is a unique environment with the State of Vermont that includes diverse activities such as warehousing, licensing, website content, remote points of sale, law enforcement, and networking as well as standard desktop support.  The DLL IT Team is a small embedded group that offers specific support to the department in collaboration with the Agency of Digital Services' support organization.  Knowledge of Microsoft O365, Azure, Dynamics 365, and or the Salesforce platform is preferred. Experience with providing direct customer support is expected.

Environmental Factors

Work is performed in a standard office setting, but some travel may be required for which private means of transportation should be available. Work outside of regular work schedule may be expected.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science;

OR

Associate's degree in computer science or college-level coursework that includes 15 computer science credits AND two (2) or more years of experience in computer or network support, programming or analysis, or database administration.

OR

Four (4) or more years of experience in computer or network support, programming or analysis, or database administration.
