Overview

The Executive Assistant serves as chief assistant to the Treasurer and Deputy Treasurer in all roles and responsibilities as assigned. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Providing administrative and policy support.
• Primary scheduler for the Treasurer and Deputy Treasurer.
• Responsible for tracking of all incoming correspondence to the Treasurer (mail, email, telephone).
• Prepares and assists in the drafting of presentation materials, memos, letters, press-related correspondence, and legislative correspondence.
• Prepares spreadsheets, reviews financial documents for accuracy.
• Drafting and proofreading documents, updating office website and social-media pages as needed in support of the Treasurer and Deputy Treasurer.
• Interacting with elected officials, members of the public, and customers seeking services by the Office of the Treasurer both in person and by telephone.
• Answering office telephone/checking office phone voicemail daily.
• Serves as Records Management and Public Records Officer.
• Responsible for compliance with Public Records law.
• Works in partnership with the Deputy Treasurer and General Counsel on all Records Management and Public Records Officer duties.

Compensation

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
