Overview

The Assistant Warehouse Manager is a vital force in ensuring the seamless operation of the liquor warehouse. This dynamic role involves leading and inspiring warehouse and driver teams, optimizing order fulfillment processes, and maintaining uninterrupted operational flow. With a focus on efficiency and excellence, the Assistant Warehouse Manager collaborates closely with the Warehouse Manager to drive strategic initiatives, enhance staff performance, and uphold the highest standards of safety and inventory management.

Environmental Factors

Duties are performed primarily in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment with regular exposure to the physical demands of warehouse and transportation operations. Work requires operation of warehouse equipment and vehicles, movement of stock, and lifting and carrying merchandise weighing up to fifty-five pounds. Some duties may require working outside in variable weather conditions in support of loading, unloading, or delivery activities.

Minimum Qualifications

High school graduation or equivalent AND four (4) years of experience in inventory control and warehouse procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supervising both warehouse and driver staff in a warehouse, transportation, logistics, or distribution environment.

Experience using warehouse management systems, handheld scanning devices, Excel, dashboards, or related operational technology tools.

Experience supporting staff training, safety compliance, performance monitoring, and day-to-day workflow management.

Experience participating in operational testing, process validation, or implementation of warehouse system or device updates.

Special Requirements

A valid motor vehicle operator's license is required, and incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver's License within six months of hire.
