Overview
The Agency of Commerce and Community Development is looking for a highly organized, detailed-oriented person effective at working independently and as part of a team to write, assemble and facilitate execution of contracts and grant agreements. Excellent soft skills are necessary to facilitate adherence to policy-informed procedures that may not always be understood or esteemed; and pivot to new priorities with little notice. The successful candidate will have excellent self-management skills, initiative, and a high level of comfort asking questions and seeking assistance.

This position, Contracts and Grants Administrator - Limited Service (Job Requisition #46186), is open to all State employees and external applicants. It is a Limited Service position, which is non-tenured and authorized for a specific period of time. Limited Service positions are established for specially funded projects or programs.

Environmental Factors
Duties are performed in a standard office setting, but may involve some travel for which private means of transportation is required. Some evening or overtime work may be necessary. Interaction with grantees, contractors and consultants through phone contact is required.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher AND two (2) years of work experience that includes one or more of the following: (a) administration of grants/contracts as a funder and/or recipient; (b) collaboration with community partners in the delivery of social services; c) enforcement of provider agreements; OR d) management of financial affairs or a governmental accounting system.
OR
Four (4) years of experience that includes one or more of the following: (a) administration of grants/contracts as a funder and/or recipient; (b) collaboration with community partners in the delivery of social services; c) enforcement of provider agreements; OR d) management of financial affairs or a governmental accounting system.
