Overview
The Natural Resources Board (NRB) is seeking an organized and dependable person to fill a temporary Information Management Technician position in our Essex Junction Office. This position involves administrative and technical work executing and delivering record-keeping requirements for records, data, and information creation. Ideal candidates will have strong analytical, communication and collaboration skills.
This position will primarily assist the NRB in an ongoing digitization project. Document preparation is a critical aspect of the digitization project to ensure that the final output is in a specific format that is usable to staff, sister agencies, and the public. This position would carry out document preparation for the digitization project including file organization, maintaining inventory lists, updating databases, identifying exempt records and document chain of custody.

Temporary work is typically for variable hours, and is not expected to be full-time. The State does not guarantee 40 hours of work per week.

Environmental Factors
Duties are performed primarily in a standard office setting, with some travel required to field locations.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in areas such as archival or library science, information science, or business administration.
OR
Associates degree in areas such as business, information, or library sciences AND two (2) years or more of work experience in data analysis, information science, or records management.
OR
High School diploma AND six (6) years or more of work experience in data analysis, information science, or records management.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Microsoft Excel using data validation, advanced formulas and functions, and Power Query; and creating Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, and Dashboard Charts.
