Overview
The Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment Program (RESEA) is seeking a Facilitator who will perform duties within the Burlington Career Resource Center located in Burlington VT.
This position will assist customers who are receiving Unemployment Insurance (UI) benefits to review UI rules and regulations and obtain resources to become reemployed successfully. These duties include presenting information in a group or individual setting, helping customers to develop a reemployment plan, providing interest profile resources, and connecting customers with the Workforce Development Division of the VT Department of Labor. We are looking for candidates who can work within a team, have good communication skills, is able to work with a diverse population and has strong technical skills. Although this position is posted as time-limited there is a potential for long term employment.

Environmental Factors
Duties are typically performed in an office setting with normal working conditions. Some travel may be necessary, for which private transportation may be needed. The RESEA Facilitator will experience significant public and client interaction which may involve individuals who are under personal and financial stress. Incumbents must be able to work in stressful and sometimes emotional situations and treat the public with sensitivity, fairness, and tact.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree AND three (3) years or more of experience in either: employment services, human services, human resources, or vocational counseling.
OR
Associate's degree AND five (5) years or more of experience in either: employment services, human services, human resources, or vocational counseling.
OR
High School diploma or equivalent AND seven (7) years or more of experience in either: employment services, human services, human resources, or vocational counseling.
