Overview

The Vermont Department of Health (VDH) is looking for a full time program evaluator to assist with the evaluation of several chronic disease grants. This work involves collaborating with VDH public health staff and community partners to design and conduct mixed methods evaluation projects. The ideal candidate will have previous program evaluation experience, strong facilitation and performance improvement skills, and comfort with research methods and qualitative and quantitative data collection.

It is a Limited Service position, which is non-tenured and authorized for a specific period of time. Limited Service positions are established for specially funded projects or programs.

Environmental Factors

Duties are typically performed in a standard office setting. Some travel is required for which private means of transportation should be available. Incumbents may need to work evenings or weekends and speak before public groups.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Degree in a health-related or social science field and two (2) years or of professional experience including research, evaluation, or performance management.

OR

Bachelor's Degree in a health-related or social science field and four (4) years or more of professional experience primarily focused on research, evaluation, or performance management.
