Overview

The Vermont Department of Liquor and Lottery is looking for a Customer Service Specialist to perform advanced clerical and technical work for the Vermont Lottery. Duties include the processing of prize claims and prize payments, including the calculation and withholding of applicable federal and state taxes, providing customer service excellence to internal and external customers and agents., explains lottery rules, procedures and statues, and dealing with irate claimants and agents.

 

Work is performed under the direction of the VT Lottery Customer Service Supervisor.

Environmental Factors

Must be able to work quickly and accurately in order to meet customer needs. Normal office conditions prevail. Some overtime work may be required.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent AND two (2) years or more of work experience involving customer service duties.
