Overview
The State Of Vermont Department of Liquor and Lottery is looking for a Liquor Store District Coordinator, to work out of our offices in Berlin, VT. This position provides technical, coordinating, auditing work and IT support for the Department of Liquor & Lottery involving the operation of state retail liquor contracted agencies in an assigned geographic area.
Auditing work involves examination of agency financial reports and records and a physical inventory of retail liquor agencies and the central warehouse. Training is conducted for liquor agency operations in the assigned area. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Director of Retail Operations.

Environmental Factors
Considerable travel throughout the state is required for which private means of transportation may be required.
Duties often do not conform to normal office hours.
Occasional need for meeting with irate retail customers and agents to resolve problems and grievances.
Minimum Qualifications
Three (3) years or more of experience involving retail financial analysis, retail operations, retail marketing, or merchandising.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in retail operation for a commercial or large enterprise.
Experience in the alcohol beverage industry.
