Overview

DLL is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Marketing Manager to help lead marketing and promotional initiatives across the Department. This position plays a key role in advancing the Department's mission through brand management, consumer engagement, and vendor relationships. 

 

The Marketing Manager will oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing plans across a variety of channels; manage external advertising vendors; develop and monitor a large marketing budget; and coordinate social media and website content. 

 

The ideal candidate bring strong creative and strategic instincts; experience with communications / marketing across both the public and private sectors. This position requires strong skills in strategic planning, creative project management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Environmental Factors

Duties are performed largely in a standard office setting, but with some in-state travel required for which private means of transportation may be required. Regularly scheduled out-of-state travel is necessary. Work outside of normal work schedule may be required. Tact and diplomacy are required in dealing with vendors, agents, and the general public.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications or closely related field and three (3) or more years of experience in marketing, public relations, communications or creative services.

 

OR

 

Five (5) or more years or more of experience in marketing, public relations, communications or creative services.
 

Preferred Qualifications

Masters Degree in business, public relations, marketing, advertising or communications.
