Overview

The Vermont Department of Liquor and Lottery is hiring a team oriented individual with a very strong customer service and administrative skill set, to work in our offices in Barre.  Your job would be clerical work with an emphasis on communicating both by telephone and email, working with current licensees to assist in getting them registered in our new portal system.  Work is performed in an office environment with plenty of training and assistance.

This position, Program Technician I - Temporary (Job Requisition #46124), is open to all State employees and external applicants. This is a temporary position. Temporary work is typically for variable hours, and is not expected to be full-time. The State does not guarantee 40 hours of work per week.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent AND two (2) years or more of experience at or above a technical level in program administration support (such as administrating components of a licensing and certification program, or records management).

OR

Two years or more of full-time college coursework OR an associate's degree or higher AND one (1) year or more of experience at or above a technical level in program administration support (such as administrating components of a licensing and certification program, or records management).
